Dufferin Construction Strides for the General Race
On Saturday, September 16, 2017, Dufferin Construction was a Silver Sponsor in support of the Strides for The General (Hamilton General Hospital) Race in support of Joey Hackett. Joey, a Dufferin Construction employee, was injured last year and has made an amazing recovery. Many turned out to support Joey and ran or walked the 5K race. We are happy to say that Joey was also the overall ‘Top Individual Fundraiser’, helping the Hamilton General Hospital raise approximately $200,000 over the course of the event.
Greater Toronto Airport Authority Annual Runway Run
On Saturday September 23, 2017 Dufferin Construction was once again a sponsor for the 10th Greater Toronto Airport Authority Annual Runway Run. Dufferin Construction has been a sponsor since its inception 10 years ago. Many charities have benefited from this great cause and this year was no different. All proceeds went to The Propeller Project helping young people get jobs. Dufferin Construction had many participants running or walking the 5k right on Runway 06R 24L.
