Cayuga Materials & Construction Co. Ltd. was established in 1956 at their current quarry site, located just west of the village of Cayuga, Ontario. In 2004, Cayuga Materials & Construction Co. Ltd. became an operating unit of Dufferin Construction Inc., a business unit of St. Lawrence Cement Inc. Today Cayuga Materials & Construction Co. Ltd. provides customers with hot mix asphalt, construction services and primary and recycled aggregates.

At the peak of the construction season, Cayuga Materials & Construction Co. Ltd. employs a total of 95 personnel throughout their operations. Product line pricing, administration and invoicing are carried out at the Cayuga Materials' construction office located at the Cayuga Quarry ( operated by Dufferin Aggregates). Operating 1 Portable Coninuous Drum Plant in Cayuga and 2 Stationary Batch Plants in Hamilton and Simcoe, Cayuga Materials can offer customers a wide range of customer services:
