Operations
The Operations team plans, schedules and manages civil engineering projects.
They must manage resources including labour, materials and equipment to ensure that the project is being constructed as per plan, on schedule and within budget. In doing so, they must monitor the construction schedule, maintain accurate cost control plans, calculate productivity and material yields and arrange for the procurement of construction materials and services. All employees on site are responsible for their own personal safety and that of their co-workers.
Project Engineer in Training
Under the general direction of the Project Superintendent, the Project Engineer provides administrative and engineering support services on various projects related to the construction or repair of roads, airports, bridges, sewers and watermains within the Heavy, Municipal, Land or Commercial and Industrial market.
