Description of the Award
The Excellence in Innovation Award is a prestigious award given by the Canadian Construction Association and is sponsored by The National Research Council of Canada. A gold medal along with the Hugh R. Montgomery Memorial Trophy is presented to the winner of this award.
The Excellence in Innovation Award is presented to an organization who has demonstrated innovation in Canadian construction practices. The construction practice must demonstrate innovation by definition, an ingenious solution to a problem arising in the course of construction, and by demonstrating the practical skills by which designs are translated into reality.
