Description of the Award

The CCA Environmental Achievement Award was created in 1991 to recognize innovative or exemplary environmental conduct by a member firm or member association of the Canadian Construction Association. The purpose of the Award is to promote exemplary environmental leadership, innovation and/or achievement through the development and successful implementation of new or inovative:
- Engineering/architectural design;
- construction practice;
- technology;
- product; and/or
- Environmental Management System or Sustainable Development Plan
