Dufferin Construction Company Limited, becomes part of Associated Quarries & Construction Limited
1960
James Francheschini passes away and the company operations are taken over by his brother Leonard Francheschini and his two sons Leonard P. Francheschini and James J.L. Francheschini.
1961
St. Lawrence Cement Company acquires “Associated Quarries & Construction Limited” including Subsidiary’s Dufferin Construction Company Limited, Haggersville Quarries Limited, Dufferin Quarries Company Limited, and Hagersville Asphalt Paving Company Limited
1962
Dufferin Construction Company celebrates 50 years in business
1964
Dufferin Construction Company, becomes part of “Dufferin Materials & Construction Limited” with subsidiaries consisting of Ready-Mix, Aggregate Quarries and Asphalt Paving
1965
New Dufferin Construction & Materials Logo Introduced
1987
Dufferin Construction Company celebrates 75 years in business
1995
Dufferin Construction Company becomes the first concrete paving company in North America to receive ISO 9002 certification for the manufacturing and laying of concrete roadways
2000
Dufferin Construction Company changes name and becomes Dufferin Construction Company, A business Unit of St. Lawrence Cement Inc.
2001
St. Lawrence Cement Inc. acquires TCG Asphalt & Materials and Cayuga Construction & Materials – These company’s become operating units of Dufferin Construction Company
2009
St. Lawrence Cement Inc, sells the final percent of its shares to Holcim Inc, a Swiss based cement company in Hoderbank Switzerland. St. Lawrence Cement changes names to Holcim (Canada) Inc. and Dufferin Construction Company becomes a division of Holcim (Canada) Inc.

New colours & Logo Introduced for Dufferin Construction Company
2011
TCG Asphalt & Construction and Cayuga Asphalt and Construction are integrated and change names Dufferin Construction Company, representing the southwestern Ontario district
2011
Dufferin Construction Company entered the Public Private Partnership market with the award of Airlinx Project, Toronto, Ontario
2012
Dufferin Construction Company celebrates 100 years in business
2015
In 2015 CRH plc acquired Holcim (Canada) Inc. resulting in a name change to Dufferin Construction Company, A division of CRH Canada Group Inc.
